Description:

Mandate:

The Development Council supports the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives with a focus on cultivating new donors while engaging existing donors to increase giving.

 Goals for 2022/2023:

  1. Support the development and implementation of new initiatives to increase giving from members.
  2. Educate donors and prospects about the AASM Foundation’s accomplishments and acknowledge contributions.
  3. Review nominations for the Sleep Champion Award and make a recommendation for an award recipient to the Executive Committee.
  4. Support the AASM Foundation’s Corporate Support Program and provide guidance on new companies to solicit.

Committee members are required to disclose any relevant conflicts when appointed in order to determine the appropriate management of conflicts. Any new conflicts that arise during a member’s term must also be disclosed at that time.
