Committee Member
Service as a committee member is an appointment during the AASM President's 2024/2025 term. Service requires participation on monthly conference calls and collaborative involvement on projects that meet the committee mandate and goals. The meeting time is to be determined.
Full and sleep team members with experience in operations of a sleep practice are encouraged to apply.
Mandate: To advance AASM’s strategic goal of “Practice Success” by improving practice management resources for AASM members.
Goals for 2024/2025:
1. Identify the key domains of “practice management” for sleep medicine.
2. Identify gaps in education in the area of practice management.
3. Develop the outline for a book on practice management and recommend an editor.
4. Provide recommendations on improving the Practice Management Course and other educational offerings from AASM on the topic.
