AASM Foundation Review Committees - Grant Reviewer
Committees Mandate:
AASM Foundation Review Committees evaluates the scientific quality and potential impact of applications for the various grant programs of the AASM Foundation, including Career Development Grants, Community Sleep Health and Public Health Grants, and Investigator-Initiated Grants. Review committees provide grant application critiques, summaries, and scores to the Executive Committee or Board of Directors to make final funding decisions.
Goals:
- Review assigned applications and provide scores and critiques specific to the topic of the grant.
- Attend and actively participate on grant review committee conference calls.
- Submit timely final critiques and scores to the Executive Committee or Board of Directors to make final funding decisions and ensure applicants receive funding notifications promptly.

Committee members are required to disclose any relevant conflicts when appointed in order to determine the appropriate management of conflicts. Any new conflicts that arise during a member’s term must also be disclosed at that time.
