Committee Member
Service as a committee member is a one-year appointment with potential for reappointment for up to two additional terms. You must be an AASM Fellow to apply. Service requires participation on conference calls and collaborative involvement on projects that meet the committee mandate. The three meeting times vary based upon members availability.
Mandate: The Fellow Applicant Review Committee review Fellow standing applications and provide approval recommendations to the AASM Board of Directors.
Preliminary Goals for 2025/2026:
1. Evaluate and approve Fellow standing applications for the 2026 membership year.
2. Evaluate and refine the application review process.

Committee, task force and panel members are required to disclose any relevant conflicts when appointed in order to determine the appropriate management of conflicts. Any new conflicts that arise during a member’s term must also be disclosed at that time.
